Trinity College London Press is pleased to announce the launch of several new publications this month. In addition to our traditional printed book portfolio, we have also increased the number of ebooks that are now available, giving you even more ways to access our publications.

Trinity College London Press has also now signed up to RNIB Bookshare which provides materials in accessible formats to allow users who cannot read standard print to access the same books at the same time as their peers.

A Recital Anthology – Piano Solo

'This anthology has gathered a wonderful collection of works, familiar and unfamiliar, covering a great range of style and emotion. Dive in!' — Steven Osborne

Designed to support our ATCL Piano examinations, and showcasing repertoire spanning over four centuries to the present day, in a wide range of genres, this is a rich compendium that all classical pianists will enjoy. This unique collection contains 21 pieces from the ATCL repertoire list for Music Performance Diplomas in Piano from 2019, carefully edited by renowned pianist, Steven Osborne. The most popular recital choices join lesser-known treasures, allowing performers to create diverse and compelling programmes, whether preparing for a Trinity diploma examination or any other performance.

Sight Reading – a progressive method. Now available for Piano and Strings

For the first time, these new publications provide a carefully-paced and comprehensive guide to sight reading and how to approach the sight reading requirements of Trinity grade exams. The new method books are now available for Piano, Violin, Viola, Cello and Double Bass. Published in three volumes per instrument (Initial – Grade 2, Grades 3 – 5, Grades 6 – 8), these books include 10 lessons per grade, each with a clear area of focus – such as time signatures, articulation, dynamics, or harmonic language. The lessons cover a wide range of styles, as well as level-appropriate tips, and official, Trinity specimen tests, providing a complete guide to mastering the craft of sight reading.

Now available in print and ebook format.

Trinity College London Press has signed up to RNIB Bookshare®

We are pleased to announce that Trinity College London Press has now signed up to the RNIB Bookshare. RNIB Bookshare is an online resource that provides UK curriculum materials in a range of accessible formats that can be read electronically or adapted to suit the personal reading needs of learners. The service enables learners who cannot read standard print, including those with dyslexia or sight loss, to read the same books at the same time as their peers, giving them the same educational opportunities.

This is a free online resource, available worldwide to any qualifying student, and a growing number of Trinity music ebooks are now available on the service. Students can download and convert documents to other formats to further adjust to their needs. If the publication is not on Bookshare, candidates can make a request through RNIB. Other formats (such as braille) can be requested through the RNIB transcription services.

In order for you to become a Bookshare member, an expert must confirm that you have a print disability that severely inhibits or prevents you from reading traditional print materials. Anyone in the world with a qualifying print disability may join Bookshare.
