ATCL Performing (Contemporary Dance)
What is it?
The ATCL Performing (Contemporary Dance) is a new Level 4 qualification that has been devised by Trinity College London in consultation with Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance: one of the world's leading providers of contemporary dance education and training.
Who is it for?
The qualification is designed to enable contemporary dance students to display and evidence their contemporary dance performance skills and knowledge through a series of performance-based assessment tasks. The qualification encourages candidates to be multi-skilled, reflective performers showing professional potential; their performance standard will be comparable to other qualifications available at Level 4 in the Qualifications and Credit Framework or the first year of degree level study.
You can arrange for an examiner to visit you under our Examiner Visit Scheme. This is open to schools and private teachers in the UK and Ireland - you just need to reach a minimum spend of £500 (or €700) in examination fees respectively. You'll get access to Trinity Online, which supports exam administration and gives you access to centre records and candidate statistics.
In order to hold your own exams with the Examiner Visit Scheme you will need to become a registered exam centre with Trinity. For more information on becoming a registered exam centre please click here.
