Business Analyst - IT

Contract: 2-Year Fixed Term Contract (FTC), Full Time
Hours: 35 hours, Monday - Friday
Salary: c£45,000 + benefits
Location: Blue Fin Building, Southwark

 

Trinity is seeking to recruit an IT Business Analyst. As part of a team of Business Analysts and technical resources, you will work on a variety of IT & Digital projects. Your role in projects will include capturing and documenting requirements, producing technical specifications, planning and conducting System Testing, managing UAT and supporting projects through the full lifecycle. You will contribute to the development of business cases and work with key business stakeholders and our Process Analysis team to ensure that business processes and IT solutions are aligned.

Trinity is in a period of considerable growth and we are supporting that growth with a programme of Digital Transformation. As a result, we are working on a range of innovative and exciting projects and technology initiatives that you will have the opportunity to be a part of.

The successful candidate will have the following experience and capabilities:

 

  • Experience in the use of a range of Business Analysis techniques
  • Solid experience of requirements gathering, documentation and prioritisation
  • Excellent business process modelling skills
  • Good technical knowledge to validate proposed system solutions
  • Ability to respond to change and adapt within a rapidly evolving business environment
  • Experience of working with package solutions, ideally Oracle Siebel
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • A positive attitude and commitment to the success of projects
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

 

Previous experience in the Education sector is desirable, preferably within an Exam Board or Awarding body, as is a relevant degree or Business Analysis qualification.

Executive Business Support Officer (Graduate)

Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: 35 hours, Monday - Friday
Salary: c£35,000+ benefits
Location: Blue Fin Building, Southwark

 

This is an exciting opportunity for multifaceted graduate who is looking for a supportive environment which will encourage you to develop your career during a period of growth in the organisation. We are looking for individuals with fresh ideas, different perspectives and the necessary skills to come and play a key part in our journey of improvement, finding new ways to make progress.

You will work proactively in providing comprehensive administrative and executive assistant support. Acting as the gatekeeper you will be responsible for attending meetings with or on behalf of the Group Director: Sector Strategies, preparing agendas and minutes, booking travel and accommodation. You will need to be hands-on and alert to the Directors daily workload to include diary management and managing correspondences. Playing a key role to the Executive Team, you will work across a varied range of real-world projects and activities and be expected to sense-check departmental reports, budgets and metrics, monitor and provide project updates as well as prepare slide decks from scratch for high-level meetings.

To be successful in this role, you will be diplomatic, diligent and conscientious to what’s going on, but driven and ambitious to see things through. You will need to be extremely upbeat and be able to multi-task as the role is very varied. The current team is looking for an individual who is a highly motivated graduates and aspires to build their career and can take up the challenge.   As well as:

 

  • A degree in the Arts, Language or Business-related subject
  • Highly computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office Packages including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
  • Multifaceted in communication, planning, organisational, interpersonal, research and content writing skills
  • Aptitude to deal with matters of a confidential or sensitive nature
  • Be comfortable working as a part of a team, but equally able to work independently and liaise with all levels (up to Board level)
  • You must take real pride in your work and be willing to roll-your-sleeves-up-and-get-stuck-in

Demand Management Administrator - Customer Service

Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: 40 hours, (Monday to Saturday as determined by rota)
Salary: c£19,000 + benefits
Location: Preston

 

Trinity College London is one of the world’s most respected exam boards. Every year, 700,000 people in 60+ countries take our assessments and we’re one of only two Home Office-approved providers of Secure English Language Tests (SELT) for UK visas.

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the SELT business in providing support to the candidates. Joining a friendly and welcoming team, you will be required to act as the first point of contact for existing candidates and prospective candidates providing support and guidance through the entire candidate journey in line with Trinity policies and regulatory requirements. Playing a key role to the Customer Service Team, you will carry out administrative duties to include; providing support to our Centre Managers, dealing with candidate queries, assisting in daily office needs, managing our company's general administrative activities.

An exciting part to this job is the opportunity to work within other areas of the business according to business demands.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a proven track record working in an administrative capacity. As well as:
